Juan Carlos Aristizabal, better known to some of you as LaCow. Born in Cali, Colombia on the 22nd day of July, 1982. His parents are Jorge H. Aristizabal, his mother Doris Aristizabal. He has 2 sibling, a sister Marisol and brother Julian Andres.
He lived in Cali, Colombia, from birth til March 25th, 1993, where he found himself in Greenville, South Carolina. From a very young age LaCow has always loved music, specially Rap music. Around the age of 16 he was introduced to Electronic Dance Music.
He started with a House CD given to him by his father's friend. Silly thing is, his friend and his father are both deaf. Any how at the time he liked the cool sounds coming from his speaker and decided to start partying. At parties he would dance and well party, however he would always find his way to the front of the crowd to watch the DJ.
Watching the DJ always made LaCow smile from the vibe the DJ gave. From there it was on, LaCow wanted to be that guy behind the decks giving off a great vibe in a place where people just came together to enjoy the music and the atmosphere. So in 2000 he got his firts setup, a pair of Gemini's PT2100 and a three channel mixer. DJing became LaCow's passion, djing three to six hours straight to get better.
